Art:
- Full active 2 channel speaker level line output converter.
- Unique on the market and an absolute top seller from JL Audio!
Features:
- Fully active two-channel speaker level line output converter with automatic power on.
- Designed by JL Audio Sr. engineer Bruce Macmillan, the LoC-22 is a two-channel active processor designed for applications requiring the conversion of factory audio signals for use with aftermarket amplifiers and signal processors.
- The LoC-22 uses a fully regulated, switching MOSFET power supply and an all-analog circuit design to provide flat frequency response at any signal level (3 Hz - 32 kHz, +0, -1dB) without altering bass response at high levels, as is the case with many passive line output converters.
- Designed to combat induced cable noise, the LoC-22 features a differential input architecture that makes it compatible with virtually any analog audio signal.
- The LoC-22 can handle up to 40 V RMS per channel (equivalent to 400 W into 4 ohms) and easily handles the most powerful factory amplifier outputs.
- A built-in dual-range input load switch allows compatibility with most factory amplifiers that use impedance sensing to mute channels.
- Ideal for full-range or low-frequency applications, the LoC-22 is equipped with a pair of line-level RCA analog output jacks (up to 8 V RMS) for feeding audio signals into your aftermarket system. The analog outputs are compatible with most types of aftermarket signal processors or amplifiers.
- Adjusting output levels is super simple and easy thanks to a specially calibrated, built-in clipping meter that works with test tones or music.
- The LoC-22 offers two automatic power-up methods (DC offset detection or signal detection) and provides a positive 12V power-up output for activating aftermarket amplifiers or other downstream electronics.
