The C2-400X coaxial speaker system from JL Audio is specifically designed to add depth and clarity to your music playback. As a 4 inch (10 cm) coaxial system, it offers a combination of bass-midrange driver and silk dome tweeter. Equipped with a mineral-filled polypropylene cone and an embossed steel frame, the speaker provides sparkling high-frequency detail, smooth midrange and a powerful midrange. The C2-400X system is flexible in its installation, with cut-away mounting brackets for different configurations and included adapter plates for mounting in different speaker positions. The speaker grille with its attractive design is also included.

- The Evolution C2 systems deliver sparkling high frequency detail, smooth midrange and a powerful midrange thanks to true silk dome tweeters and precision engineered woofer designs.
- The C2-400x system features 4-inch (100 mm) bass-midrange drivers with mineral-filled polypropylene cone, long excursion capability and embossed steel frame. The woofer design benefits from JL Audio's extensive experience in woofer development and advanced modeling systems.
- The C2-400x can be installed in four-hole or two-hole configurations using cut-off mounting brackets on the woofer frame.
- The scope of delivery also includes injection-molded adapter plates that allow the C2-400x speakers to be mounted in a 4 x 6 (100 x 150 mm) speaker position.
- The tweeters are coaxially mounted and constructed with 0.75-inch silk dome cones that deliver a smooth, extended on- and off-axis response. The small size of the C2 tweeter minimizes tweeter protrusion, allowing C2 coaxial speakers to fit behind most factory speaker grilles.
- Speaker grilles are included, each consisting of a black grille surround with satin silver accents and a black steel grille with an electroformed JL Audio logo.
