The AE100 from Axton is a 4" (10cm) coaxial loudspeaker characterized by its compact basket construction made of sheet steel in Euro-DIN format. The 10 cm 2-way coaxial system features a powerful strontium ferrite magnet and a lightweight injection-molded polypropylene cone, which enables precise reproduction throughout the entire frequency range. Other features include a polyurethane foam surround, a 13 mm Mylar dome tweeter with ferrofluid-cooled neodymium drive and an included speaker grille. The frequency response ranges from 100 Hz to 20 kHz, the nominal impedance is 4 ohms and the sensitivity is 81 dB (1 W/1 m). With a rated power handling capacity of 60 W, a mounting diameter of 93 mm and a mounting depth of 41 mm, this speaker can be used for a wide range of applications.
