The MV800/8i is an 8-channel marine DSP amplifier from JL Audio. This device opens up a new dimension of sound quality outdoors and on board. Its high durability makes the amplifier ideal for demanding environments, ensuring a long service life and reliable operation. Featuring the latest NexD2 switching amplifier technology and a built-in digital signal processor, the MV800/8i delivers premium sound enhancement for any audio device. A compact, corrosion-resistant housing and complete configuration freedom via an external device round off the range.

• 8-channel full-range class D marine amplifier with integrated DSP, 100 W x 8 @ 2 Ω / 75 W x 8 @ 4 Ω - 14.4 V
• Designed to deliver premium audio performance in marine environments, each MVi amplifier combines our state-of-the-art NexD2 switching amplifier technology™ with an integrated, full-featured digital signal processor.
• Equipped with our second generation NexD2 Technology™, the MV800/8i produces up to 75 watts per channel into 4 ohms or 100 watts into 2 ohms. It can also be bridged to 4 ohms and generates up to 200 W x 4.
• The NexD2 Full Range Technology™ in this amplifier is DSP-driven and features a reduced loop area design utilizing DirectFET™ outputs for excellent fidelity, very low noise and exceptional efficiency. The MV800/8i is housed in a compact cast alloy enclosure with a marine-grade powder coat finish and is equipped with corrosion-resistant hardware and connectors.
• Instead of conventional knobs and switches, all amplifier settings and DSP functions are configured via a compatible external device (PC, tablet or smartphone) on which the corresponding JL Audio TüN® software application is installed.

• Differential balanced analog inputs accept a wide range of signal levels (up to 16 V RMS) and provide excellent noise rejection for clean, clear sound.
• Analog preamplifier outputs with fully independent DSP processing allow DSP functions to be shared with other amplifiers in the system (max. 4 V RMS)
  

JLid™ System Command and Control with network functions

• The proprietary JL Audio protocol provides a control interface and all communication for VXi amplifiers and optional JLid Accessories™, including:
• VXi-BTC Bluetooth® Communicator: Adds wireless connectivity for amplifier configuration from a compatible iOS® or Android® device.

• M-DRC-50 (Digital Preset Controller): Provides convenient activation of up to six DSP presets from the control station.
• MVi-HUB JLid-COMM and Network Hub: Provides network connectivity for up to six MVi amplifiers (one master and five slave amplifiers) for DRC control of the entire system and preset selection.
