The Sundown Audio E Series, ranging from coaxial/component speakers, including the Sundown Audio E-6.5CS 6.5 inch front system set, was designed to offer the best value for money. Sundown Audio started development with specially crafted and vented stamped frames for each individual midrange driver to ensure durability, excellent voice coil cooling, and great looks. This is combined with a specially designed, highly linear motor structure that drives the extremely smooth-sounding poly cone. The front of each speaker features a well-damped rubber surround and a rubber sealing ring around the tweeter stem (for weather and dust protection as well as the air pump effect). The tweeter of the E Series is equipped with a titanium dome, which provides a "sharper" sound than the SA Series, but not excessively so—the tweeter is well-damped at the edges.
