With the right system setup, your smaller main speakers can be relieved of the burden of reproducing low frequencies by adding a subwoofer. This allows your entire system to play louder and sound cleaner at all listening levels.
Developed and built specifically for marine applications, the M3 subwoofers with infinite baffle are designed to operate without a special enclosure and are geared towards moderate power applications.
The M3-10 is best suited for amplifier power in the range of 50 W to 175 W and is optimized for operation with a large volume of air behind it (at least 2.56 l ). If you need a subwoofer that operates in a small, sealed enclosure, choose our M6-10W instead.
Like all JL Audio marine speakers, this driver is built to withstand a true saltwater marine environment and provide years of listening pleasure.
This model is produced at the JL Audio factory in Miramar, Florida, using global materials and components.
