Those who operate very powerful amplifiers in their vehicle know the problem: During bass attacks, the nominal 12-volt onboard network "buckles," which is noticeable, among other things, by the flickering lights in time with the music. The problem: A car battery is indeed very strong, but due to a high internal resistance, it is not able to deliver quick current pulses. However, these are needed for very powerful amplifiers to reproduce basses dry and clean.

HYBRID PowerCAPS
With the new hybrid buffer capacitors ZXT 5.0 and ZXT 10.0 from the Zeus Extreme series, such problems are a thing of the past. Thanks to modern hybrid technology, which uses an electrolyte liquid and a polymer as the film base, it is possible to accommodate up to 10 Farads of capacity in compact housings. At the same time, the technology ensures a very low equivalent series resistance (ESR), so that the power is available instantly.

Zeus Extreme capacitors deliver the stored extra power exactly when the subwoofer amplifier IMMEDIATELY needs a lot of energy for the intense bass hit. Afterwards, the released energy is recharged from the battery in the power cap for the next attack. The capacitor can thus buffer and smooth voltage spikes by absorbing excess energy and releasing it when needed.
