Stage3 5.5m 4-channel by Four Connect

Stage3 5.5m 4-Channel is a 5.5 m RCA Cable from Four Connect in the STAGE3 series. The fourfold shielded twisted-pair structure with extra tight twisting and additional wire for noise suppression is integrated. The conductor is made of tinned OFC T-OFC with a 0.5 mm² cross-section and is designed as O-TOFC Oversized Tinned Oxygen Free Conductor. The conductors are double shielded with foil as well as with double polycot and fiber shielding. Two layers of insulation materials, as used in high-voltage cables, envelop the conductors. The connectors are rhodium-plated Bite Hold Molded Connectors BHMC and are tested at the factory. The connector housings are made of HDPE plastic with a counter-conical structure for strain relief.

Frequently Asked Questions about Stage3 5.5m 4-channel

What are the special features of the Four Connect Stage3 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable?

The Four Connect Stage3 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable offers outstanding technical features, including a quadruple-shielded twisted-pair design. Key features include the oversized tinned oxygen-free conductor (T-OFC) for lossless signal transmission and a very large conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm², which is well above the average of other RCA cables. The double foil and fiber shielding ensures effective suppression of inductive noise, while the rhodium-plated bite hold molded connectors (BHMC) provide a high retention force. These plugs are also made from HDPE plastic to ensure high insulation.

How does the twisted-pair design of the Stage3 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable improve audio quality?

The twisted-pair design of the Stage3 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable significantly reduces electromagnetic interference that could otherwise lead to signal noise. The tight or extra-tight twisting of the conductor pairs minimizes the intrusion of interference, ensuring clear and unaltered audio transmission. Combined with the quadruple shielding, this structure reliably prevents the intrusion of disruptive frequencies, especially in the automotive environment, where electromagnetic interference is common. This means you can enjoy interference-free sound quality even at high volumes.

Why is the Stage3 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable equipped with a 0.5 mm² cross-section?

The Stage3 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable uses a conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm², which is unique in RCA cables. This size ensures lossless signal transmission, as more copper in the conductor allows for lower signal noise and better sound quality. In sound installations, especially in cars, this can make the difference between average and excellent sound reproduction. This robust construction ensures maximum signal quality over the entire cable length, even in demanding systems with high currents, keeping the sound consistent without sacrificing performance.

What role do the rhodium-plated BHMC connectors play in the Stage3 RCA Cable?

The rhodium-plated Bite Hold Molded Connectors (BHMC) in the Stage3 RCA Cable are crucial for ensuring a firm and stable connection. Rhodium plating offers high resistance to corrosion and improved contact resistance, leading to a more stable signal connection. The HDPE plastic housings act as effective insulation against external influences. Together with the opposing cone structure, which serves as strain relief, these connectors also prevent mechanical stress on the cable, which is particularly important in mobile applications like in cars. These features support long-lasting and lossless audio quality.

What shielding techniques does the Stage3 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable use for noise suppression?

The Stage3 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable employs a quadruple shielding technique to suppress noise. The combination of double foil shielding and double polycot and fiber shielding helps effectively shield against unwanted electromagnetic interference. This construction is supported by an additional wire running through each cable, providing extra noise suppression. Such measures are essential in environments with many disturbances, like in cars. This thorough shielding technology ensures that the original audio signal remains unaltered and clear, even under challenging conditions.

What advantages does the use of tinned oxygen-free copper (T-OFC) offer in the Stage3 RCA Cable?

The Stage3 RCA Cable from Four Connect uses tinned oxygen-free copper (T-OFC) as the conductor material, which offers several advantages. The tin coating not only prevents corrosion but also improves the solderability of the conductors, making the electrical connection more secure. OFC also provides higher conductivity and reduces loss due to lower resistance, meaning more signal stays in the cable and less heat is generated. This leads to unaltered signal transmission, especially for audiophiles who value sound fidelity. The use of T-OFC significantly contributes to the clarity and precision of the audio signal.

How does the Stage3 RCA Cable ensure that no inductive noise occurs?

The Stage3 RCA Cable minimizes inductive noise through a special double foil shielding that effectively blocks electromagnetic interference. This is complemented by double insulation that uses materials also found in high-voltage cables. Together, these measures create a barrier against external interference that would be perceived as inductive noise. Furthermore, the quadruple shielding contributes to effective noise suppression. In combination with the tight twisting of the twisted-pair design, the signal flow is optimized, allowing for clear and unaltered audio output, especially in an environment with high electromagnetic stress.

What components contribute to strain relief in the Stage3 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable?

In the Stage3 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable, strain relief is achieved through the cleverly designed plug housings. These are made of HDPE plastic and utilize a counter-conical structure. This structure ensures that the mechanical stress applied to the cable is significantly reduced. Thus, the electrical connection remains stable even under physical stress, which is particularly advantageous when installed in vehicles. The high-quality processing of the rhodium-plated Bite Hold Molded Connectors (BHMC) further ensures that no damage occurs due to tensile stress.

What technical advantages does the Stage3 5.5m 4-channel offer regarding noise suppression in the car?

The Stage3 5.5m 4-channel from Four Connect is perfectly designed for use in cars, particularly focusing on noise suppression. The quadruple shielding, consisting of a double foil construction as well as double polycot and fiber shielding, ensures that external electromagnetic interference, which frequently occurs in vehicles, does not affect audio quality. Additionally, the tight twisting of the twisted-pair design actively reduces electromagnetic interference. Together, these features provide quiet and clear audio playback in any car, regardless of signal strength or proximity to interference sources.

Are there any special installation instructions for the Stage3 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable?

When installing the Stage3 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable, care should be taken to ensure that the cable lengths allow sufficient space between devices to fully exploit the benefits of noise suppression. Although specific compatibilities are not directly discussed with car brands, the cable should not cause any issues in most vehicle installations due to the use of HDPE plug housings. Installers should ensure that the cables do not have sharp bends and that the plugs are correctly latched into the sockets to ensure the best possible signal transmission. This maximizes the performance of the Stage3 RCA Cable.
