Stage3 5.5m 2-channel by Four Connect

Stage3 5,5m 2-Channel is a 5,5m RCA Cable from Four Connect in the STAGE3 series. It uses tinned OFC (T-OFC) with a conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm² as well as O-TOFC Oversized Tinned Oxygen Free Conductor. The fourfold shielded twisted-pair structure, QNR fourfold noise suppression, extra tight twisting, double foil shielding, and double polycot and fiber shielding are integrated. An additional wire is present in the cable. The conductors are double-layer insulated with materials from high-voltage cables. Rhodium-plated BHMC Bite Hold Molded Connectors are installed, and each connector is factory tested. The connector housings are made of HDPE with a counter-conical structure for strain relief.

Frequently Asked Questions about Stage3 5.5m 2-channel

What advantages does the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable from Four Connect offer?

The Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable from Four Connect features a variety of technical characteristics that ensure outstanding performance. This includes the use of a tinned oxygen-free copper conductor (T-OFC) with an oversized cross-section of 0.5 mm², which provides lossless signal transmission. The quadruple shielding, consisting of a twisted-pair structure and double foil shielding, minimizes unwanted noise. The use of BHMC plugs and HDPE housings ensures high insulation and strain relief. It is suitable for demanding environments, especially in vehicles.

How does the double foil shielding of the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel cable affect signal transmission?

The double foil shielding of the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel cable from Four Connect plays a crucial role in signal quality. By applying this technique, inductive interference noise that can occur during signal transmission is effectively reduced. This is particularly important in a high-interference environment, as is often the case in vehicles. Reliable noise suppression ensures that the transmitted audio signal remains clean and clear. The additional layer of polycotton and fiber insulation contributes to optimized shielding, resulting in consistent audio quality.

How do tinned OFC conductors contribute to the performance of the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable?

Tinned oxygen-free copper conductors (T-OFC) in the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable provide outstanding electrical conductivity and resistance to corrosion. These features are crucial for low-loss signal transmission, which is especially important in environments where consistent performance is required. Additionally, the tinning helps prevent oxidation of the copper, which could negatively affect sound quality. The oversized conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm² further supports transparent signal transfer, which is particularly beneficial for high-fidelity audio applications in vehicles.

What role do the BHMC plugs play in the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel cable?

The BHMC (Bite Hold Molded Connector) plugs of the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable are designed to create a solid and reliable connection. These molded plugs offer excellent durability through their rhodium plating and prevent signal loss due to loose connections. Each plug is tested for functionality at the factory, ensuring consistent quality. HDPE plastic housings around the connectors provide additional protection due to their high insulation capability and counteract mechanical stress, ensuring stable hold under dynamic conditions.

Why is the quadruple shielding in the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable important?

The quadruple shielding of the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable is central to minimizing electromagnetic interference that could otherwise affect signal quality. Such shielding levels use twisted-pair configurations and double foils to significantly reduce electromagnetic interference from external sources. This technique is particularly beneficial in vehicles where many electronic devices are active simultaneously. By combining physical shielding with special material selection, a clean and undisturbed audio signal is ensured.

How does the cable length affect the installation and performance of the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel?

With a length of 5.5 meters, the Stage3 2-channel RCA Cable offers the necessary flexibility for installation in the vehicle, regardless of its size. This length allows the cable to be routed comfortably through the interior without compromising signal quality. Lossless signal transmission is secured by the robust T-OFC conductor and effective shielding technologies, such as quadruple shielding. Even in larger applications, there is no drop in quality due to excessive cable length, ensuring consistently reliable audio output.

What materials are used in the insulation of the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel cable?

The insulation of the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable uses advanced materials such as polycot and fiber, which are also used in high-voltage cables. These materials provide excellent insulation capacity and minimize the risk of electrical disturbances. Their application not only ensures excellent noise suppression but also protects the conductors from mechanical stress and environmental influences. This makes the cable particularly suitable for use in demanding environments, such as within a vehicle, where constant vibrations and temperature fluctuations can occur.

Why is the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable from Four Connect over-engineered for its size?

The Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable from Four Connect is considered 'over-engineered' because it has unusually robust properties for its size. The conductor made of tinned oxygen-free copper with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² is an elaborate feature for an RCA cable, resulting in signal performance that far exceeds standard requirements. The comprehensive quadruple shielding and the choice of durable, specially coated materials like the BHMC plugs provide additional protection and performance. This design is intended to withstand the toughest conditions, especially in the automotive sector.

What aspects of noise suppression does the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable offer?

The Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable from Four Connect ensures that all types of interference noise are effectively suppressed through its quadruple shielding and other innovative techniques. The materials arranged around the conductor dampen electromagnetic disturbances, while the double-layered materials, also used in high-voltage cables, provide additional insulation. A special additional wire running through the cable contributes to further noise suppression. This multilayer structure effectively reduces voltage influences and electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing constant, interference-free signal transmission.

How does the conical structure of the plugs of the Stage3 5.5m cable act as strain relief?

The conical structure of the connectors in the Stage3 5.5m 2-channel RCA Cable primarily serves as strain relief. The opposing cone shape of the connector housings made of HDPE acts like a trap that absorbs mechanical stress and prevents the conductor from being pulled out of the plug under tension. This is particularly crucial in more dynamic environments, such as a vehicle, where cables are often subjected to mechanical stress. The conical structure enhances structural integrity without compromising signal transmission performance and further contributes to the durability of the cable, even under demanding use.
