Stage2 5.5m 4-channel by Four Connect

The Four Connect STAGE2 4-channel RCA cable in 5.5m length features thicker conductors than usual, made from tinned OFC (T-OFC) copper. The triple-shielded twisted-pair structure eliminates unwanted noise. Another factor for noise suppression is an additional wire inside the cables.

The conductors are also wrapped in foil to prevent inductive noise. The conductors are insulated with materials also used in high-voltage cables. This structure provides incredibly effective noise suppression, which is especially important in automotive environments.

The connectors are rhodium-plated Bite Hold Molded Connectors (BHMC), and each connector is tested at the factory to ensure they provide an excellent grip.

The connector housings are made of HDPE plastic, which has a high insulation factor. The housings feature a counter-cone structure that serves as strain relief for the cable. An additional outer cable can be used as a remote wire or as a noise-suppressing ground wire.

Frequently Asked Questions about Stage2 5.5m 4-channel

How is the noise suppression of the Stage2 5.5m 4-Channel RCA Cable ensured?

The Stage2 5.5m 4-Channel RCA Cable from Four Connect offers outstanding noise suppression thanks to its triple-shielded twisted-pair structure, which effectively eliminates unwanted noise. An additional wire within the cable and the foil wrapping of the conductors help prevent inductive noise. The insulation materials are derived from high-voltage technology, ensuring optimized shielding in the automotive environment. These components together guarantee the highly effective noise suppression of the RCA cables, allowing for clear audio signals to be transmitted.

What length do the Stage2 5.5m 4-Channel RCA Cables have and what is this length optimal for?

The Stage2 5.5m 4-Channel RCA Cables have a length of 5.5 meters, making them ideal for installations in vehicles with longer distances between the audio source and the amplifier. Especially in larger vehicles or in installations where the amplifier is placed in the trunk and the source in the dashboard, this cable length is excellent. The generous length provides enough leeway for flexible routing without tension or stretching of the cable.

What specific materials are used in the Stage2 5.5m 4-Channel RCA Cables?

The Stage2 5.5m 4-Channel RCA Cables use tinned oxygen-free copper (T-OFC) as the conductor material, known for its excellent properties in signal transmission. The conductors are wrapped in a special foil to minimize external interference. The connectors are equipped with rhodium-plated Bite Hold Molded Connectors (BHMC), known for their secure grip. The housings of the plugs are made of HDPE plastic, ensuring a high insulation factor and durability, while the opposing cone structure of the housing acts as effective strain relief.

How do the rhodium-plated Bite Hold Molded Connectors contribute to the performance of the Stage2 RCA Cables?

The rhodium-plated Bite Hold Molded Connectors (BHMC) of the Stage2 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable ensure a firm and secure connection of the RCA plugs. The rhodium plating achieves high corrosion resistance, extending the lifespan of the connectors. Each connector is factory tested to ensure it provides the desired grip, thus ensuring reliable signal transmission. This is particularly important in vibrating environments such as vehicles, where a stable connection is essential.

What applications are there for the additional outer cable of the Stage2 5.5m RCA Cable?

The additional outer cable of the Stage2 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable can be used in various ways. It serves either as a remote line to control amplifiers or other components from a distance, or as a noise-canceling grounding line to further minimize any interference and ensure a clean audio signal. This flexibility in application highlights the thoughtful design of the RCA cables and their usability in different installation scenarios.

What material are the plug housings of the Stage2 5.5m RCA Cable made of, and what advantages do they offer?

The plug housings of the Stage2 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable are made of HDPE plastic, a material with a high insulation factor. HDPE offers excellent insulating properties, providing additional protection against external influences. The integrated counter-conical structure in the housing acts as an effective strain relief to protect the cable from mechanical damage. These design decisions contribute to durability and ensure that signal transmission remains reliable even in demanding environments.

How does the twisted-pair structure affect the signal quality of the Stage2 5.5m RCA Cable?

The twisted-pair structure of the Stage2 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cable minimizes electromagnetic interference and crosstalk that could affect signal quality. This structure allows potential interference signals to cancel each other out, as the wires in the cable are tightly twisted together. This leads to optimized signal transmission, which is particularly beneficial in demanding electromagnetic environments, such as those commonly found in vehicles.

Are the Stage2 5.5m RCA Cables compatible with all vehicles?

The Stage2 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cables are universally compatible with most vehicles, as they do not have a specific brand affiliation in the product description. The length of 5.5 meters offers flexibility in cable routing within a vehicle, regardless of size or brand. Always consider the available space in the vehicle and the distances between the devices to be connected during installation to ensure that the cables can be mounted without tension.

What role does the tinned oxygen-free copper play in the Stage2 5.5m RCA Cables?

The tinned oxygen-free copper (T-OFC) in the Stage2 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cables maximizes conductivity and minimizes resistance, greatly improving signal transmission. T-OFC is particularly corrosion-resistant, which extends the lifespan of the cables and ensures long-term performance. Copper, known for its excellent conductivity, combined with tinning, provides optimal protection against oxidation and ensures stable electrical connections that are essential for a high-quality sound experience.

How does the foil shielding in the Stage2 5.5m RCA Cables prevent inductive interference?

The foil shielding of the Stage2 5.5m 4-channel RCA Cables acts as a barrier against inductive interference by completely surrounding and shielding the conductors. This shielding prevents interference from electrical or magnetic sources from affecting the signal. This is particularly important in environments with a high potential for electromagnetic interference, such as in vehicles with numerous electrical components. The foil shielding helps maintain signal purity and optimize sound quality.
