The SuperCharge Option

• With the Supercharge option, you will hear an even tighter and cleaner bass across the entire power range.
• What exactly happens during SuperCharging? By adding a specially shaped neodymium short-circuit ring on a flush-cut pole piece, with the opposite polarity facing down, you redirect otherwise lost magnetic energy into the voice coil gap. This increases the usable motor strength by 20-25%, allowing smaller, lighter motors to provide the same drive energy as larger motors.
• You cannot operate a SuperCharged sub with more power, and the SPL value does not increase, but you will hear a cleaner output at higher levels. SuperCharged subwoofers use the power you give them more efficiently, but you still have the same heat dissipation and the same voice coil area. This means that the power handling is the same as the standard model.

The control ribs are compressed to a lower density than the main surround body to allow for a stepless control system. The harder you control it, the more control you gain.
• Tuned Spider System (TSS) - Each suspension is tailored to specific performance characteristics, e.g., High Definition, Power Handling, X-Stiff Control.
• Super-Frame (SFrame) - Maximizes the spider diameter, cone diameter, and suspension travel, acting as a secondary short circuit ring and providing additional heat dissipation for better heat flow from the coil.
