The SuperCharge Option

• With the SuperCharge option, you hear an even tighter and cleaner bass across the entire power range.
• What exactly happens during SuperCharging? By adding a specially shaped neodymium shorting ring on a flush-cut pole piece, with opposite polarity facing down, you redirect otherwise lost magnetic energy into the voice coil gap. This increases usable motor strength by 20-25%, allowing smaller, lighter motors to have the same drive energy as larger motors.
• You cannot run a SuperCharged subwoofer at higher power and the SPL does not increase, but you hear a cleaner output at higher levels. SuperCharged subwoofers use the power you give them more efficiently, but you still have the same heat dissipation and the same voice coil surface area. This means the power handling is the same as the standard model.

ESP Subwoofer Features

• Carbon Fiber Blend Cone (CFB) - The CFB composition uses an effective carbon fiber-based cocktail to provide the highest strength-to-weight ratio in the industry.
• Vario-Density Extended Range of Motion Surround (V-ROM) - Provides ultimate linear control at high excursion while enabling dynamically sounding bass reproduction. The control ribs are compressed to a lower density than the main surround body to allow a seamless control system. The harder you control it, the more control you get.
• Tuned Spider System (TSS) - Each suspension is tuned for specific performance characteristics, e.g., High Definition, Power Handling, X-Stiff Control.
• Super-Frame (SFrame) - Maximizes spider diameter, cone diameter, suspension excursion, and thus acts as a secondary shorting ring and provides additional heat dissipation for better heat flow from the coil.
