    The Illuminator 15WU/8741T00 is an impressive 5" (13cm) bass-midrange driver from Scanspeak. It impresses with its extraordinary design, which includes an open construction with extremely large linear excursion. The patented SD-3 underhung voice coil system with neodymium drive and copper caps ensures very low distortion. The patented cone and the sandwich paper cone achieve a low-loss linear suspension. Together, these features make the Illuminator 15WU/8741T00 an outstanding bass-midrange driver. It is exemplary for what performance and precision currently have to offer on the market.
