The VMAXS124 from Cerwin Vega is a 12-inch Subwoofer from the VMAX series with a nominal power handling of 400 Watts RMS and a peak power handling of 800 Watts. The model features a dual 4 Ohm impedance and a 76 mm high-temperature voice coil. The diaphragm is made of treated, semi-pressed cellulose and is attached with a rubber surround to a heavy-duty aluminum die-cast frame. The technical features include a Klippel DA-optimized motor and symmetrical suspension. The design includes an elevated motor structure, additional cooling vents for the voice coil, and a copper short circuit ring. The resonance frequency is 33.3 Hz with a sensitivity of 87.5 dB.
