Description
With the SQ25, the manufacturer STEG presents a first-class dome tweeter. Equipped with a very lightweight 25 mm fabric cone, it keeps the frequency response linear at all times and offers a rich, lifelike and detailed sound without distortion. Its design also includes a double-layer voice coil and a dense neodymium magnet as well as a rear damping chamber with careful geometry and magnetic surface. Thanks to these features, the SQ25 is able to reproduce sounds from 1400 Hz downwards and cover the spectrum up to 20,000 Hz. It thus offers a high degree of fidelity and high performance with an optimum impedance of 6.0 Ω. In addition, the tweeter is characterized by its polished aluminum housing, the hexagonal grille and its low-viscosity ferrofluid.
