JL Audio 8W7 AE

The 8W7 AE  is an impressive 8-inch (20cm) subwoofer from the renowned manufacturer JL Audio. This model, often referred to as the "best 8-inch subwoofer ever", impresses with its remarkable performance characteristics and design features. As a 10th anniversary edition, the 8W7 AE has an improved linear excursion envelope of 0.75 inches (19mm), which allows it to deliver far more impact than other 8-inch subwoofers. With a continuous power handling (RMS) of 500W and a nominal impedance of 3 ohms, the 8W7 AE is optimized for amplifier power in the range of 200W to 500W. It comes in an elegant design with satin black powder-coated baskets and bright anodized circumferential clamp ring.
