The 8W7AE is an impressive 8-inch (20cm) subwoofer from renowned supplier JL Audio. Often referred to as the "best 8-inch subwoofer ever", this model boasts remarkable performance characteristics and design features. As the 10th anniversary edition, the 8W7AE brings an improved linear excursion envelope of 0.75 inches (19mm), allowing it to deliver far more impact than other 8-inch subwoofers. With a continuous power handling (RMS) of 500W and a nominal impedance of 3 ohms, the 8W7AE is optimized for amplifier power in the range of 200W to 500W. It comes in an elegant design with satin black powder-coated baskets and bright anodized surrounding clamping ring.
