Description
The Musway M6v3 6-channel DSP amplifier can confidently be regarded as a new milestone in amplifier construction. With 105 watts RMS per channel (into 2 ohms), a total output of 630 watts RMS is available. The compact dimensions are made possible by an elaborate 4-layer laminated circuit board, which also effectively suppresses EMC interference thanks to the favorable topology - a must for full-range Class D amplifiers in particular.
The heart of the amplifier is the state-of-the-art ADAU1452 DSP chip from Analog Devices, which has been finely tuned by Musway engineers and leaves nothing to be desired in audiophile terms. The amplifier is connected via a space-saving cable harness with ISO plugs; individual plug+play cable sets are also available. Useful additional functions include soft clipping to protect the electronics and speakers in 2-ohm operation and the newly developed high-level input with error protection system, which prevents functions from being impaired or error messages from being written to the vehicle's memory when connected to OEM factory radios.
