ZAPCO DSP-IV Series - ADSP-Z8 IV-6AT

The ZAPCO ADSP-Z8 IV-6AT DSP amplifier from the DSP-IV Series is a high-end 8-channel DSP with a built-in 6-channel amplifier. The Zapco DSP amplifier utilizes the most advanced ADC and DAC converters for maximum sound quality, achieving an extremely high signal-to-noise ratio of 106-110dB with a dynamic range of -120dB to 140dB. A remote control for controlling the DSP is included in the scope of delivery.

A system can only sound as good as its source material, and the DSP-Z8 IV AT Series significantly expands the potential for the best possible source material. The new coaxial and optical inputs accept the digital signal from your head unit or portable HD player. The DSP-IV AT devices also feature a connection for HD Bluetooth streaming (with the optional HD-BT module). An interactive digital connection expands your possibilities even further. The connection accepts the control input of the supplied remote control, so you can change the input source, select your song, adjust the overall volume and even control the output of your system's bass amplifiers.

The new ADSP-Z8 IV-6AT amplifier has 6 amplified channels and 2 RCA outputs, while the ADSP-Z16IV 12-A (with 16-channel DSP) has 12 amplified channels and 4 RCA outputs. As for the graphical user interface, the new advanced menu also features a Mixing Set and an AutoTune function (except for the 12-channel model) when you add the optional tuning microphone.

Drop-down menus allow you to name each output channel in the software to customize it to your system. The advanced menu also offers a Mixing Set and an AutoTune function when you add the optional calibrated tuning microphone.
The new DSP-Z8 IV AT gives you even more options for input selection. You can have up to 8 input channels that you can set up instantly by simply selecting 2-channel, 4-channel, 6-channel or 8-channel on the input page. If you need to sum the channels of a factory installation to get a full range input, just click on SUM and the system will do it for you. If your system is more complicated than the default, you can also access the Advanced menu and use the Mixing Set to manually assign the exact amount of input to each channel that is best suited for your particular audio setup.
