The HO110W6V3 is a 10" (25 cm) cabinet subwoofer from JL Audio. This cabinet subwoofer is characterized by an HO Wedge bass reflex enclosure with a 10W6v3-D4 subwoofer. - In the HO110-W6v3, the high power handling of the 10W6v3 subwoofer combined with its low cabinet requirements results in a very compact subwoofer system that offers impressive performance with moderate amplifier power.
- JL Audio's patented chamber-coupled port design (US Patent No. 6,625,292) wraps around the inner enclosure boundary and terminates directly above the woofer, coupling the port output to the direct output of the woofer. This also provides the necessary surface area and port length to maximize the performance of the W6v3 driver. This cabinet design has been carefully matched to the optimum bass reflex cabinet orientation for the 10W6v3 and refined through extensive listening in real world conditions.
- This subwoofer system is supplied wired, loaded and ready for connection via a five-way binding post terminal. Although there is no grille, the recessed baffle provides some protection for the woofer. A steel mesh woofer grille insert can be purchased separately (model: SGR-10W6v2/v3) if additional woofer protection is required.
