Frequently Asked Questions about ONE1000

What power does the Musway ONE1000 offer at different ohm resistances?

The Musway ONE1000 1-channel Amplifier has flexible power outputs depending on the resistance. At 4 ohms, it delivers 400 watts RMS, which is sufficient for moderate systems. If the resistance drops to 2 ohms, it provides 650 watts RMS, ideal for more powerful subwoofer applications. At 1 ohm, the amplifier can deliver a full 1050 watts RMS, which is excellent for extremely power-hungry applications. These different power levels allow the amplifier to be optimally adjusted to the needs of various audio systems, achieving maximum performance.

What is the PURE IN>OUT function on the Musway ONE1000?

The PURE IN>OUT function of the Musway ONE1000 is a feature that allows bypassing the internal crossovers of the amplifier. This is particularly useful when you use the amplifier in combination with an external DSP, such as the Musway M4+, M6, or D8. The amplifier is then used solely for signal amplification without affecting the sound characteristics, which is especially desired in high-end systems. This results in purer signal processing, which audiophile users will appreciate.

What inputs and protection circuits does the Musway ONE1000 have?

The Musway ONE1000 is equipped with versatile inputs and outputs, including RCA inputs and high-level inputs that can be flexibly used for various signal sources. For protection, the amplifier features the Error Protection System (EPS). This protection circuit prevents damage from overheating or short circuits, which is particularly appreciated by technically savvy users. Additionally, the amplifier is equipped with Interference Free Technology (IFT), which ensures interference-free signal transmission, crucial for consistent audio quality.

How can the Musway ONE1000 be installed in a car?

The installation of the Musway ONE1000 in the vehicle is relatively simple thanks to its compact dimensions of 150 x 45 x 240 mm. These measurements allow for easy placement under the seats or in the trunk. The Quick Connect Terminal makes it easy to connect 2 + 2 Ohm subwoofer systems, significantly simplifying the installation process. Due to the Auto Turn-On function, the amplifier is automatically activated when the vehicle starts. However, it is important to ensure that the installation takes place in a well-ventilated area to optimally utilize the efficiency of the aluminum heat sink.

What does Start-Stop ready mean for the Musway ONE1000?

Start-Stop ready for the Musway ONE1000 refers to the amplifier's ability to function without interruption of amplifier power in vehicles with start-stop systems. This feature is essential in modern cars where the engine is automatically turned off while idling. The amplifier ensures that audio playback remains seamless and there is no loss of power when the engine restarts. This means you won't experience interruptions while listening to your music, which is especially important when the amplifier is used in combination with high-quality audio systems.

What frequency filters does the Musway ONE1000 have?

The Musway ONE1000 is equipped with a subsonic filter that operates between 10 and 40 Hz to eliminate unwanted low-frequency signals. This protects your speakers from damage caused by inaudible deep frequencies. Additionally, it features a low-pass filter that can be variably set from 40 to 150 Hz, ideal for precisely adjusting the bass range to your speakers. A bass boost that can be adjusted from 0 to 18 dB allows you to tailor the low-frequency range to personal preferences, which is particularly beneficial in bass-heavy music genres.

How does the automatic turn-on function of the Musway ONE1000 work?

The automatic turn-on function of the Musway ONE1000 operates on the principle that the amplifier is activated as soon as an audio signal is detected. This Auto Turn-On function saves the hassle of having to manually turn the amplifier on and off, which is especially advantageous in mobile use. This feature is also linked to the EPS system to ensure smooth operation and protect the amplifier from potential damage. This facilitates integration into existing audio systems without the need for additional switches or cables.

Is the Musway ONE1000 compatible with DSP Amplifiers?

Yes, the Musway ONE1000 is excellently compatible with various DSP Amplifiers, especially those from the Musway series like the M4+, M6, and D8. It has been specifically designed to integrate seamlessly into high-end audio systems. With the PURE IN>OUT function, it can serve as a pure amplification unit by bypassing the internal crossovers. This compatibility allows the ONE1000 to be flexibly used in a wide range of audio setups without compromising sound quality or performance, which particularly excites high-fidelity enthusiasts.

What materials are used for the casing of the Musway ONE1000?

The Musway ONE1000 features a high-quality casing made of brushed aluminum for both the heat sinks and the end panels. This material not only provides an aesthetically pleasing look and feel but also ensures efficient heat regulation. Aluminum is known for its thermal conductivity, meaning that the generated heat is ideally distributed and dissipated. This choice of material is particularly relevant for users who expect a durable and robust construction that performs reliably over extended periods, even in demanding audio applications.

How does the IFT technology ensure interference-free operation in the Musway ONE1000?

IFT stands for Interference Free Technology, which ensures signal processing without disturbances in the Musway ONE1000 Amplifier. This technology minimizes electromagnetic interference, which often occurs in vehicle environments. Due to its EMC-tested design, the Amplifier is capable of delivering a clear and precise audio signal without power losses or noise interference. IFT is especially beneficial for audio enthusiasts who desire uncolored sound performance. Particularly in vehicles with many electrical systems, this ensures that audio quality remains at a high level.
