The VEGA VCU84 from Cerwin Vega is a 4-Channel Amplifier of Class D from the Micro Series. The device delivers a rated power of 80 Watts RMS per channel at 4 Ohms and 150 Watts RMS per channel at 2 Ohms. In bridged operation at 4 Ohms, 300 Watts are achieved over two channels, resulting in a total output power of 550 Watts. The construction includes a pulse-width modulated MOSFET power supply and a next-generation Digital Class D IR chipset. The housing is made of a high-performance aluminum alloy heat sink and is designed for all-weather applications. Features include a remote control for bass level adjustment, preamplifier RCA outputs, and LED indicators for status and protection circuitry.
