The Niko 1.40000 is a 1-channel amplifier from STEG, designed for high-performance audio outputs and intense SPL challenges. With a dual power input connection, 40 switching MOSFETs, and 10 transformer modules, this model offers maximum efficiency and performance, even under the most extreme conditions. Additionally, the built-in microprocessor-controlled protection system ensures continuous and smooth operation. As a premiere in the industry, STEG implements an innovative switch-mode power supply management system to minimize failures.
Protection System of the STEG D Series:
The NIKO 1.40000 integrates various protection systems to control the following functions:
- short-circuit output
- Direct current at the ends of the speakers
- Increase temperature
- Temporarily mute in the ignition
- Supply voltage outside the permissible range
- Intelligent "INTELLISPEED" fan control
- Asymmetrical power supply between the two connections
The numerous "sensors" of the circuit send a continuous stream of data that is processed at very high speed. The protection system reacts immediately, intervenes accordingly, and reports any malfunctions via the LEDs on the control panel. The other protection system is managed by the modulator, which monitors the circuit in the output stage.
