Description

The ACP208LG-W3V3 is an 8" (20cm) active enclosure subwoofer from JL Audio. This MicroSub bass reflex system is equipped with two 8W3v3-4 subwoofers and an integrated Class-D DCD™ amplifier. The system features a built-in 500W Class-D amplifier and a black carpet bass reflex cabinet. It also utilizes JL's exclusive DCD™ amplifier technology to get the maximum performance out of its specially designed, ultra-low impedance W3v3 driver. It impresses with its outstanding performance and unparalleled efficiency. A highlight is the easy integration into OEM and aftermarket head units thanks to a variety of input options and the automatic power-on function.

• With MicroSub+™ systems, the power is built right into the subwoofer system. This incredible subwoofer system with a proprietary Class-D amplifier utilizes JL's exclusive DCD™ amplifier technology to extract maximum power from its custom-designed, ultra-low impedance W3v3 driver. By combining direct power conversion with an ultra-high current output section, DCD™ amplifiers are free from conventional switching power supplies, allowing them to produce remarkable power with unprecedented efficiency.
• The key to the bass reflex enclosure's performance is its efficient slot port design and the precise tuning of its 8Wv3 subwoofer. Extensive internal bracing allows the use of thinner wall material that maximizes the internal volume of the enclosure relative to its external volume. The port is wrapped around two enclosure walls to create the low tuning frequency required for excellent extension and smooth response. The port's tapered inlet and outlet further improves sound quality by minimizing the noise of airflow through the port.
• Integration into OEM and aftermarket head units is a breeze thanks to a wide range of input options and the automatic switch-on function (via signal sampling or DC offset sampling).
• Also included is a low-pass filter with variable frequency (50-200 Hz) and a switch to control the output polarity.
• By adding an optional RBC-1 remote control (sold separately), you can control the subwoofer level directly from the driver's seat.
• A quick-release power supply connection makes it easy to remove the subwoofer if you need the extra space. 
• Note: DCD™ amplified systems use very specific components. Never use a DCD™ amplifier or the associated subwoofer(s) with incompatible, non-DCD™ products. Doing so will invalidate the warranty and may result in serious damage.
• Design: Black, high-quality car carpet with silver "JL AUDIO" embroidery on the front baffle. A steel grille is supplied to protect the subwoofer.
