The Morel Elate Carbon 63 3-way Speaker Set offers an impressive combination of innovative design and high-quality materials. The 6-1/2-inch woofer and the 3-inch midrange driver use three-layer carbon fiber/Rohacell membranes that minimize distortion and produce precise sound. The MT450 tweeter, with a diameter of 1-1/8 inches, is Acuflex-coated and features a unique open-cavity design. The speakers can handle up to 180 watts RMS and 1000 watts peak power, with a sensitivity rating of 87 dB at 2.83 V. The frequency response ranges from 30 Hz to 25,000 Hz, allowing for comprehensive sound reproduction.

What is the installation depth of the Morel Elate Carbon 63 Speaker Set?

The installation depth of the individual components of the Morel Elate Carbon 63 Speaker Set is precisely specified to allow for easy integration into various vehicle types. The woofer has an installation depth of 6.2 cm, making it suitable for many standard door openings in vehicle installations. The midrange driver requires a shallower installation depth of 2 cm, making it very versatile for installation options in tight spaces. These dimensions should be considered when planning the installation in more specialized vehicles to ensure optimal performance of the speaker system.

What are the advantages of the carbon fiber/Rohacell membranes in the Morel Elate Carbon 63?

The use of three-layer carbon fiber/Rohacell membranes in the Morel Elate Carbon 63 Speaker Set offers significant acoustic advantages. These materials are known for their high stiffness while being lightweight, allowing for undistorted sound reproduction even at high volumes. The structure of the membrane minimizes resonant frequencies, supporting more precise bass and midrange reproduction. This results in a clear and nuanced sound that particularly shines with demanding music genres. Especially if you enjoy listening to complex musical pieces, you will appreciate this level of detail.

How does the open-cavity design of the MT450 tweeter affect the sound?

The open-cavity design of the MT450 Tweeter in the Morel Elate Carbon 63 Speaker Set has several acoustic advantages. It allows for improved air circulation around the tweeter diaphragm, which increases thermal resilience and reduces distortion at high frequencies. This design utilizes a dual neodymium magnet motor that ensures powerful reproduction of highs. The Acuflex-coated silk dome tweeter additionally provides detailed yet smooth sound reproduction, even at high volumes, significantly enhancing the quality of high frequencies for music lovers.

What mounting options does the Morel Elate Carbon 63 set offer?

The Morel Elate Carbon 63 Speaker Set offers several mounting options to enable flexible installation variants. The set includes components for flush and surface mounting, including angled tweeter enclosures and rubber feet for surface installation. The included mounting brackets and quick-mount tools, such as crimp quick connectors, greatly facilitate installation. This equipment ensures that the system can be optimally integrated into both new and existing vehicle installations. For an even more customized installation, the components are equipped with matching grilles, which also provide aesthetic protection.

What is the power capacity of the Morel Elate Carbon 63 Speaker System?

The Morel Elate Carbon 63 Speaker System can handle a maximum continuous power of 180 watts RMS and offers a peak power of up to 1000 watts. These power ratings ensure that the system produces clear and precise sound even at high volumes, without the risk of overload or distortion. The high wattage allows you to pair the speaker system with powerful amplifiers, maximizing sound quality. The frequency response of 30 Hz to 25,000 Hz rounds off the powerful sound experience, potentially exceeding your boldest expectations.

What role does sensitivity play in speaker performance?

The sensitivity of the Morel Elate Carbon 63 Speaker System is specified at 87 dB at 2.83 V. This sensitivity indicates how efficiently the speaker converts the power provided by the amplifier into sound. A sensitivity of 87 dB means that the system can produce a remarkably high volume with relatively little energy. This is particularly advantageous when operating the system in vehicles with an existing, weaker amplifier. The optimized sound pressure ensures that you experience vibrant sound quality without needing to upgrade additional devices.

What components are included in the delivery of the Morel Elate Carbon 63 sets?

The delivery of the Morel Elate Carbon 63 speaker set includes numerous components that enable a complete installation. These include two MW6 woofers, two MM3 midrange drivers, and two MT450 Tweeters. Additionally, two crossovers for the passive version are available as an option. Other important accessories include Grilles for all speaker types, mounting brackets, various screws, crimp quick connectors, an installation manual, and a warranty card. This extensive equipment ensures that you have all the necessary parts for a professional installation without needing to purchase additional components.

How do the dual neodymium magnets affect the performance of the Tweeter in the Morel Elate Carbon 63?

The dual neodymium magnets in the MT450 Tweeter of the Morel Elate Carbon 63 provide improved magnetic force and higher efficiency. The increased magnetic force achieves greater sound precision and speed, which simultaneously enhances sound fidelity in high-frequency reproduction. This magnet construction allows for a lower coil mass, increasing the speed of the Tweeter and helping to accurately reproduce high frequencies. When you listen to intricate and complex music, you benefit from the clear and unadulterated accentuation of the musical experiences that this elaborate magnet technology supports.

Up to what frequencies is the woofer of the Morel Elate Carbon 63 speaker capable of reproducing sounds?

The woofer of the Morel Elate Carbon 63 speaker system, along with the entire system, covers a frequency range from 30 Hz to 25,000 Hz. This is impressive, as it allows for the reproduction of both deep bass sounds and high tones in excellent quality. The focus of the woofer is on the lower frequencies, ensuring powerful and precise bass reproduction. Whether you prefer bass-heavy music genres or orchestral works, the woofer is designed to deliver a rich and authentic sound representation in both cases.
