Mosconi Pro 4|30 AAB EVO by Gladen
The Mosconi Pro 4|30 AAB EVO, a 4-channel high-performance amplifier from Gladen, provides outstanding sound precision through its innovative AAB technology. This technology differs from classical amplifiers by enabling distributed control at the component level, leading to stable and linear signal processing. The amplifier also impresses with its ability to precisely adjust the input sensitivity via dip switches and its compatibility with DSP systems thanks to the optimized DirectDSP input. With robust performance that remains clean even under high loads and real conditions, the Mosconi Pro 4|30 AAB EVO offers both flexibility and control for demanding car audio systems.
Analog reference. Designed for maximum sound precision.
The MOSCONI PRO 4|30 AAB EVO is a 4-channel power amplifier for demanding car audio systems, where sound quality and control are the focus.
At the center is the AAB technology, an amplifier concept that fundamentally differs from classical Class-AB power amplifiers.
Instead of a common control for all power transistors, the output stage operates with distributed control at the component level.
The result is particularly stable and linear signal processing, even under real conditions such as temperature changes, load fluctuations, or dynamic music signals.
AAB technology: Control at the component level.
In classical amplifiers, the entire output stage is controlled via a common operating point.
It is assumed that all power transistors operate identically, which is never fully the case in practice.
The AAB technology takes a different approach.
Each individual power transistor is monitored and controlled separately.
Local control loops ensure that each component remains in the optimal operating range at all times – regardless of:
- Temperature,
- Current flow,
- Load behavior,
- Component tolerances.
This results in a significantly more stable and uniform operation of the entire power amplifier.
Stability instead of compromise.
This distributed architecture reduces typical problems of classical amplifiers:
- Thermal drift,
- Unequal distribution between transistors,
- Unstable operating points,
- Dependence on component tolerances.
Even at high power levels, complex speaker loads, and dynamic music signals, the power amplifier remains controlled and predictable.
Separate signal and power paths form the clean basis for sound.
The internal architecture consistently separates the sensitive audio signal path from the power supply.
High currents and rapid load changes occur in the power supply.
The signal path operates with very low voltages and is sensitive to interference.
By clearly separating layout and ground levels, it is prevented that these influences enter the audio signal.
This specifically reduces
- Interference from current peaks,
- Feedback from the load on the supply,
- Internal interference within the power amplifier.
The signal remains clean, stable, and uncolored even at high power.
Thus, the signal remains clean, stable, and uncolored even at high power.
Sound character: control and naturalness
The combination of AAB technology and clean design ensures stable playback even under real conditions.
This is particularly evident in the following characteristics:
- High detail resolution,
- Stable spatial representation,
- Clean micro-dynamics and
- Controlled behavior at high levels.
Even with increasing load, the sound image remains calm, structured, and comprehensible.
Power and flexibility
Four powerful channels enable versatile system configurations:
- Stereo operation,
- Active multi-way systems
The PRO 4 connects|30 AAB EVO high power reserves with precise control over the speaker.
Stability under real conditions
The entire architecture is designed to operate stably even outside ideal laboratory conditions.
A powerful power supply ensures a constant power supply, while the internal monitoring controls the temperature and operating condition.
Thus, the power amplifier remains reliable and controllable even under high continuous load.
Precise signal adjustment without potentiometer.
Input sensitivity can be set channel-separated via dip switches.
This allows for reproducible and durable settings without mechanical wear parts.
Adjustment is made in 0.25-volt steps in the range of 1 to 8.75 volts.
Optimized DirectDSP input
The integrated DirectDSP input allows for direct connection to external DSP systems.
Since additional signal processing in the amplifier is omitted, the audio signal remains unchanged and low-loss.
This is particularly relevant for fully DSP-based systems.
