L'amplificateur Hifonics ZEUS STREET ZXS550/2 à 2 canaux, d'une puissance de 2x 275 watts RMS, issu du nouveauZEUS STREET possèdent la technologie Advanced Digital Power, afin d'obtenir des dimensions de dissipateur thermique ultra-compactes. Cela est possible en premier lieu grâce à la technologie moderne de classe D qui, en raison des rendements extrêmement élevés qu'elle permet d'atteindre, nécessite 90% de courant en moins que les amplificateurs analogiques de puissance comparable. Autre avantage : les sections de câble pour l'alimentation électrique ne doivent pas être aussi épaisses.

Mais petit ne signifie pas mince : dès le déballage, on remarque que l'on a affaire à de véritables amplis ZEUS. Malgré leur petite taille, les modèles sont agréablement lourds dans la main et donnent une sensation de solidité dans la qualité habituelle de HiFonics. Les badges logo en aluminium, les numéros de modèle soigneusement usinés et les embouts raffinés en fonte d'aluminium créent une symbiose unique de puissance et d'élégance qui émane de ces amplis.

Bien entendu, tous les modèles ZXS disposent, en plus des filtres de fréquences réglables, des dernières fonctionnalités telles que la mise en marche automatique, nécessaire pour le raccordement aux systèmes électriques modernes des véhicules. Les entrées de haut niveau sont équipées d'un EPS avancé pour supprimer les messages d'erreur dans les systèmes de diagnostic des véhicules. La technologie numérique HiFonics IFT à faibles émissions assure une réception radio sans interférences.
