Les subwoofers de la série Sundown Audio LCS, dont fait partie le subwoofer Sundown Audio LCS-10 V2 10" (25cm), sont connus pour leur reproduction impressionnante des basses et leur grande fiabilité. Les subwoofers d'entrée de gamme typiques sont très limités en termes d'excursion linéaire, de robustesse mécanique et de performance thermique - autant d'aspects que Sundown Audio a fait passer au niveau supérieur dans la série Sundown LCS. La mise à jour v.2 rafraîchie est équipée d'un tout nouveau cadre spécialement fabriqué, de terminaux push, d'un joint de montage en caoutchouc et de câbles à paillettes améliorés.

Une structure magnétique doublement empilée et une bobine mobile extrêmement longue permettent d'atteindre un x-max linéaire de 14 mm dans une direction, leader de sa catégorie, en plus de distances mécaniques élevées (plus de 2" pointe-pointe). La grande bobine, combinée à la ventilation par fente, au design biseauté de la pièce polaire et à la ventilation optimisée des pôles, confère à la série LCS des performances thermiques impressionnantes. La stabilité mécanique et la longévité sont assurées par une membrane en papier solide, une moulure en mousse robuste et un spider de haute qualité avec des câbles à lamelles entièrement attachés. Tous les domaines importants de la longévité des subwoofers ont été pris en compte jusqu'au niveau maximal possible dans cette catégorie.
