The APX 6.5 from Audison is a 6.5-inch coaxial speaker featuring a concentric coaxial tweeter. The nominal power handling is 70 watts RMS with an impedance of 4 ohms, while the peak power reaches 210 watts. The system utilizes a 32-mm voice coil made of pure copper and a Triple-Wave TPU suspension for the diaphragm guidance. The construction consists of a water-resistant paper cone and a compact basket with abrasion-resistant coating. For connection, a high-current quick-connect terminal with double contact is integrated. The development and optimization of the speaker were carried out using KLIPPEL technology.
