The Rockford Fosgate Punch 500-12P 12" (30cm) cabinet subwoofer is a self-contained subwoofer enclosure with a built-in amplifier. This all-in-one solution is ideal for systems that require additional punch in the lower end of the frequency spectrum. The high output 12" subwoofer is impedance optimized for the built-in 500 watt Class D amplifier, which features a low-pass crossover, bass EQ and phase switch. The included remote control allows you to change the bass level in no time at all. The slot connection provides a powerful output at low frequencies for improved bass reproduction. The enclosure can be connected via speaker inputs for connection to factory systems or via conventional line level inputs for aftermarket systems. It also has an intelligent automatic switch-off function that eliminates the need for a separate power-on cable. The cabinet itself is made from MDF to achieve the best acoustic properties and is covered with heat-activated vinyl to prevent staining.
