Hertz HMD8 DSP 24V is an 8-Channel Marine Amplifier with integrated DSP. The output power is 85 W x 8 at 4 Ω, 130 W x 8 at 2 Ω, and 260 W x 4 bridged at 4 Ω (RMS @ 28.8 VDC, 1% THD). The minimum load impedance is 2 Ω in 8-channel operation and 4 Ω in bridged operation. The power supply is specified at 22–34 VDC in operation and 14–36 V, with Remote-IN 6–34 V and Remote-OUT 14–34 VDC. The amplifier operates with a bandwidth of 10 Hz to 22 kHz, a damping factor > 110, and a distortion factor of 0.06% (1 kHz, 4 Ω, 70% rated value). Input options include Pre-In with 0.6–6 VRMS and Speaker-In with 2.2–22 VRMS. The housing is made of extruded aluminum, and the circuit board is corrosion-protected.
