The EM-FTF2 Fiat speaker set from Emphaser is a high-quality 2-way component system, specially developed for models such as the Fiat Ducato III, Fiat Ducato Series 8, Peugeot Boxer II, and Citroën Jumper II. The speakers feature woofers with aluminum diaphragms and Cambridge surrounds, providing detailed sound performance and high linear cone excursion. The tweeters with 20 mm fabric dome and coupling volume are characterized by brilliant and spatial reproduction. With the elaborately designed crossover, which ensures a harmonious frequency response, you achieve true hi-fi sound without the need for a separate subwoofer. The set includes vehicle-specific connectors and comes with all necessary components for easy installation.

The Woofer

The core element of the speaker set is the woofers with Cambridge surround in the “M” design and an aluminum diaphragm – the high sound conductivity and stability of aluminum form the basis for precise music reproduction and excellent dynamics. The strength of the diaphragm material is chosen to provide stability for impressive bass attacks as well as the necessary lightness for precise midrange. Thanks to the large magnet drive with Faraday copper cap and the low total weight of the moving unit, the speaker system achieves high efficiency and thus its convincing performance – even when the EM-FTF2 is operated on a “normal” radio.

The Tweeter

The tweeters have a 20 mm fabric dome with additional coupling volume for a low resonance frequency and thus an extended playback range. The diaphragm geometry offers a uniform directivity pattern for excellent sound in the original installation location and impresses with its brilliance and spatial reproduction. In addition to the low weight of diaphragm, surround, and voice coil, the deliberate omission of ferrofluid is mainly responsible for the tweeter’s lively, spatial, and distortion-free sound. The tweeters integrate perfectly with the recordings of the Remi front dimming system – simply snap into the original mounts, done.

The Crossover

The elaborately designed crossovers are additionally equipped with an LCR resonant circuit to perfectly tune the sound to the acoustics in the driver’s cabin. The result is a harmonious frequency response down to the bass range; a separate subwoofer is no longer necessarily required for audiophile hi-fi music enjoyment. The crossovers are directly on the woofer or as cable crossovers on the tweeter, allowing easy installation – plug & play with the original connector.
