Thesis TH 6.5 II sax is a 6.5 inch (16.5 cm) midbass driver from Audison with a nominal power handling of 150 W and a peak power handling of 300 W at 4 Ohm. The frequency response is specified as 40–4500 Hz, the linear excursion is 5.4 mm, and the sensitivity is 87 dB. The voice coil has a diameter of 50 mm and low inductance, with the voice coil material specified as Copper Clad Aluminium Ribbon. Neodymium is used as the magnet, including N48 H-Grade specification and geometrically optimized magnet group via Finite Element Simulation. The diaphragm is made of TPX® with simulated geometry, and the basket is one-piece aluminum die-cast with four pairs of spokes. The suspension and spider are designed as Hi-excursion, and eID technology is integrated.
