The Audison Prima AP 8 is an 8 inch (20 cm) mid-bass driver with 100 W continuous power and 300 W peak at 4 Ohm. The frequency response ranges from 35 to 3000 Hz, with a sensitivity of 93.5 dB. The drive uses a High Density Flux Ferrite magnet and a 25 mm voice coil. It features a water-repellent treated paper cone and a TPU surround with a flat triple wave profile. Design features include low installation depth, a compact basket with abrasion-resistant and scratch-resistant coating, and a motor secured with damping epoxy glue. High-current quick-connect terminal with double contact and temperature-resistant terminal cover. Development and optimization with FEM, Klippel Scan Vibrometer, and KLIPPEL Suite. Mechanically defined low-pass cutoff frequency, operation without passive crossover possible. Grill included.
