Description
The SB Acoustics Satori TW29B beryllium dome tweeter with beryllium cone sets new standards in terms of tweeter performance. The SATORI TW29B-B Beryllium is capable of reproducing frequencies up to 40,000 Hz and, with a resonance frequency of 600 Hz, can even be used in a 2-way system.
Beryllium is known for its open and spacious sound, often described as holographic. The self-damping properties of beryllium allow for an extended frequency response without the large peaks in frequency response at higher frequencies found in most metal dome tweeters. All dome materials have a different tonal and spatial presentation. Beryllium has a real positive difference and offers an experience unlike any other dome material.
Highlights
- Beryllium dome tweeter for resonance-free high-frequency extension.
- Two-part aluminum front panel with integrated mechanical decoupling.
- Double-balanced compression chamber for better dynamics
- Two copper capsules for minimum voice coil inductance and phase shift.
- Reflection-free cast aluminium chamber with optimized damping for better dynamics.
- Optimized magnetic structure for optimum coupling to the rear chamber.
- CCAW voice coil for low moving mass
- Durable silver wire
- Low resonant frequency for extended range
The new Satori beryllium dome tweeter with ferrite magnet is here! Beryllium is known for its open and spacious sound, often described as holographic. The self-damping properties of beryllium allow a wide frequency response without the frequency response rising sharply at higher frequencies, as is the case with most metal dome tweeters. All dome materials have a different tonal and spatial presentation. Beryllium has a real positive difference and offers a different experience to all other dome materials. This new version with ferrite magnets has slightly less power at a very reasonable price.
