The Hertz Mille Legend ML 2000.3 is an 8-inch Subwoofer with a diameter of 200 mm, designed for 700 W RMS and 1400 W peak power at 4 Ohms. A 100 mm CCAW voice coil, wound In/Out on a TIL former, along with a neodymium magnet measuring 95 x 28 x 5 mm, forms the drive. The frequency response ranges from 30–600 Hz, the linear excursion Xmax is 13 mm, and the mechanical excursion Xmech is ±23 mm. The diaphragm is made of pressed paper with mineral powders, complemented by exponential V-cone geometry and Boundary Free IIR rubber surround. The basket is made from an aluminum alloy with integrated ventilation holes and a CNC-machined, diamond-cut basket edge featuring the Hertz logo; the magnetic circuit uses CNC-machined low-carbon plates and an aluminum shorting ring at the pole.
