The Spl-Lab Smart Voltmeter is a multifunctional digital car voltmeter. The SPL Lab Smart Voltmeter is characterized by its extremely fast response to voltage fluctuations, which clearly sets it apart from the competition! The Smart Voltmeter can measure a voltage value up to four times per second!

The main functions of the Smart Voltmeter are as follows:

• Measuring the precise properties of an electrical voltage of a car
• Analysis of voltage dips and surges that occur during the operation of automotive electronics.
• Protection of a car's electrical equipment from breakage
• Possibility of flexible settings and easy use

The voltmeter can easily change the data update speed on the screen (from once per second to once every quarter of a second), allowing unnecessary details to be excluded or measurements to be taken with maximum accuracy. The device has three operating modes that can be changed with just one button:

• Voltmeter mode
• Voltmeter mode with display of sag and swell
• Voltmeter mode with sag swelling display and protection function.

To display the current mode, there is a three-color LED. The user can easily adjust the permissible voltage range for setting the electrical equipment. In display and source mode, the car's voltmeter shows the current voltage. If the permissible range is exceeded, the voltmeter informs the user by holding the maximum or minimum value on the screen to assess the degree of sag or threshold. When the permissible range is exceeded, the voltmeter in protection mode interrupts the remote control circuit from user interventions, thereby protecting electrical devices from damage. It is worth mentioning that the Smart Voltmeter can switch the remote control circuit with a current of up to 3 Amperes to replace an additional relay if necessary.

Ergonomics

• The Spl-Lab vehicle voltage measuring device features a compact housing with three segments, four control buttons, three colored LEDs to indicate the active operating mode, and a slot for five contacts, providing various connection options to a car's electrical system. The design of the device allows it to be easily integrated into any vehicle interior.

Functions

• Voltmeter mode - The device simply displays the current voltage values. The control circuit is closed.
• Voltmeter mode with display of deflection and swelling - The device displays the measured voltage value and checks it for compliance with the range set in the configuration. If the voltage exceeds the defined range, the device switches to the pick-hold mode and changes the value on the screen only if the value decreases further (primary overshoot at the lower end of the range) or increases (primary overshoot at the upper end of the range). The control circuit is closed. The LED and display start blinking until the reset button is pressed.
• Voltmeter mode with display of deflection and swelling and function to interrupt the control circuit - The device displays the measured voltage value and checks it for compliance with the range set in the configuration. If the voltage exceeds the defined range, the device switches to the pick-hold mode and changes the value on the screen only if the value decreases further (primary overshoot at the lower end of the range) or increases (primary overshoot at the upper end of the range). The control circuit is interrupted, LED and display start to blink until the reset button is pressed.
