Description

The FIX-86 is a 6-channel DSP from JL Audio that is unique in the market. This OEM integration DSP with automatic digital EQ and 4+2 channel output delivers outstanding sound from new source devices while retaining OEM fader control. With its technologically advanced features, the FIX-86 allows factory new outputs to be automatically corrected before summing the signal and adjusting the EQ. Calibration is simple and takes only about 30 seconds without the need for special equipment. With its powerful 24-bit DSP processor and two 1/3-octave equalizers on board, the FIX-86 automatically combines complex factory audio outputs into a flat full-range stereo signal.

  Unlike typical OEM interface products, the FiX™ 86 automatically corrects time-delayed factory outputs prior to signal summing and EQ correction.
• Calibration takes just a single button press and about 30 seconds, with no special equipment required.
• With a powerful 24-bit DSP processor and two 1/3-octave equalizers on board, complex 2-way, 3-way and 4-way factory audio outputs are automatically combined and level-matched to a flat full-range stereo signal. Differential balanced inputs accept virtually any OEM analog audio signal, from low voltage line level to high power amplified speaker outputs (up to 30 V RMS).
  
• Calibration is initiated with a single keystroke and takes only about 30 seconds, without the need for special equipment!
  
• By connecting a PC with the TüN™ software via USB, you can also access a complete set of diagnostic panels that display the frequency response of the input signals as well as the corrected outputs. Adjustments can be made to input polarity, muting and filtering, and new calibrations can also be initiated from the PC. By clicking on the "TUNE" tab of the TüN™ interface, you can also access a pair of user-adjustable 10-band graphic equalizers to fine-tune the output signals.
  
• Output options include two RCA jacks (4V RMS) or a digital (JLId) output that supports PCM audio with 24-bit/48 kHz resolution.
  
• Activation methods include 12 volt or automatic (signal/DC offset detection) and a dedicated remote switch-on output to activate your aftermarket devices.
  
• Optional DRC-100 digital remote control (sold separately) to activate the master volume control from the driver's seat.
• Limited input signals and the overall status are also reported via the DRC-100's multi-colored status LED.
  
• It has never been so easy and never sounded so good as with your factory stereo system.
