- Large magnet system with humped backplate creates space for extreme coil excursions. Heavy copper rings above and below the T-shaped pole core reduce non-linear and modulation-related distortion and increase the overload margin. An extremely rigid and stable injection-molded metal basket holds the critical components in perfect alignment. Gold-plated connectors on a fiberglass-reinforced plate reduce contact resistance and increase reliability.
The RW165/1 - L0017-04S from Seas is an impressive 6.5" bass-midrange speaker specially developed for use in cars. The model stands out in particular due to its robust and stable construction, which ensures perfect alignment of the critical components.
