ETON Arcosia 7-208

The ETON ARCOSIA 7-208 6.5" (16.5cm) bass-midrange driver has a dynamic cone geometry made of magnesium composite materials and produces an authentic sound. The hand-coated dust cap and the flow-optimized motor design support the balanced and detailed sound impression. 

The Arcosia series stands for the highest musical demands ever placed on a loudspeaker chassis. Arcosia stands for uncompromising sound quality.

The anodized magnesium membrane was perforated in an extremely complex process and covered with an olefin film. In combination with the covering olefin film, these perforations form fine, bubble-shaped bulges that act like small partial vibration absorbers and thus largely prevent the formation of all modes. In addition, this fusion of the two components offers a more than exclusive look that is unparalleled on the loudspeaker chassis market.

The special two-component cone technology gives the Arcosia series outstanding musical properties, which are expressed above all in an excellent tonal balance and warm sound characteristics. The sound space is reproduced authentically and with impressive nonchalance, giving the impression of a multi-channel system. Additional attention was paid to the ferrite magnet system.

Thanks to the special design of the magnet geometry, the magnetic field is almost perfectly symmetrical to produce excellent vibration behavior. The particularly effective ventilation of the magnet system with optimum air circulation and heat dissipation ensures minimized compression effects during dynamic music passages and high amplitudes.
