Description
If you want to replace the OEM radio in a vehicle-specific CAN bus-controlled vehicle with a retrofit radio, a specific CAN bus adapter is required.
Specific and universal CAN bus adapters convert relevant digital data of the respective vehicle-specific data bus into analog signals. Depending on the adapter, various signals or comfort functions such as ignition plus, lighting, reverse gear signal or speed signal are read out and made available in analog form for various retrofit solutions.
Please make sure to select the correct CAN bus adapter for your vehicle and the retrofit radio used to ensure proper functioning.
