- The Sundown Audio SALT amplifiers represent the pinnacle of Korean Class D amplifier technology. They stand on the shoulders of three previous generations of Korean high-end amplifiers spanning 15 years (the SAZ v.1, SAZ, v.2 and SCV series) to achieve even higher performance. Our customers have been asking us for many years to produce amplifiers that deliver optimum performance at realistic operating voltages in the 12-volt range, not 14+ volts. - Cosmetically, they differ greatly from our original design, which is an outward indicator of the improved performance level. The heatsink is the heaviest we've ever made, has the largest surface area and is finished in an eye-catching titanium color. These amplifiers look as good as they sound, and once you hold one in your hands, the build quality is obvious. The icing on the cake is the redesigned remote control with temperature, voltage and clipping indicators, allowing you to easily monitor the vital signs of your precious audio system.
